About the author

Jordi Sandalinas
Jordi Sandalinas is a speaker, lecturer, course instructor, space lawyer and marine environmental lawyer. He holds an LL.M and serves as a PhD candidate, and is the author of several articles and other texts in the field of space law and policy.
With almost 15 years of combined practice and teaching in the space sector, more than 15 published scientific articles and around 40 conferences presented worldwide, he has been at the forefront of legal and scientific research in space and drone issues. He is fluent, spoken and written, in English, French, Spanish and Catalan.
Jordi is concerned about the protection of the environment with the use of satellites and of the latest space technology such as drones. In 2012 his work dedicated to the protection of human rights with the use of satellite imagery received a recognition award in Toulouse during the Toulouse Space Show Symposium.
